Moving house isn’t always an easy task. In 6 years, it is the 5th time for me and this is only since I have moved to the US. Overall, since 1998, I have lived on 4 different continents, 4 countries, 7 cities, 14 different houses or apartments. As an interior designer, it’s been a struggle to not accumulate or collect pieces. This new place is also temporary but hopefully the last stepping stone to my own home. Weirdly, I am a homebody and I’m aching to grow some serious roots. Meanwhile, I decided I will make this upper unit duplex built in 1932, a little more to my liking with a little bit of paint, elbow grease and some serious antiquing or marketplacing. Although, I can assure you, the inside already has some serious charm. Stay tuned to my new adventure y’all!
